Spring 2018 groups begin March 1st in Attleboro, Lexington, and Quincy.  


Teen Scene: Social skills group for teens with ASD and their peers.  This group focuses on developing basic social skills and generalizing them into home and community settings.  Monday evenings from 6pm - 7pm.


Play Skills I:  Social skills group for children ages 5 to 8.  This group is appropriate for children who are working on early group participation, peer tolerance, and play skills  This group participates in frequent trips to the park, the pool, the zoo, and other local events.  Saturdays from 10:30am to 12pm.


Play Skills II: Social skills group for children ages 5 to 8.  This group is appropriate for children who have mastered basic group and peer interaction behaviors and are working on increasing cooperative play and conversation skills.  This group goes on frequent community trips.  Saturdays from 12:30 until 2pm.


Preschool I: Social skills group for children ages 3 and 4.  This group targets foundational social skills of early childhood, and is appropriate for children who are working mainly on skills associated with levels I and II of the VB-MAPP.  Mondays and Wednesdays 3:30pm until 4:30pm.  Attleboro only.


Preschool II: Social skills group for children ages 3 and 4.  This groups focuses on extensions of early childhood play and peer interaction skills, and is appropriate for children who are working mainly on skills associated with level III of the VB-MAPP.  Tuesdays and Thursdays 3pm until 4pm.  Attleboro only.


PEERS instructional group for grades 9 through 12:  This group follows UCLA's PEER Model of overt social skills instruction, reflective discussion, and practice.  This group is appropriate for teens with well-developed communication and tolerance skills who are able to participate independently in their school and club environments, but who would like to practice strategies for meeting and interacting with friends. Tuesday evenings from 6pm to 7pm.


PEERS instructional group for grades 5 - 8:  This group is similar to the PEERS group for older teens, but follows an age - appropriate curriculum geared towards middle schoolers.  The group staffing is 6 early teens to 1 adult.  This group meets Tuesday afternoons from 4pm to 5pm.


Circle of Friends: for children in grades 1 - 5 working on basic communication, play, and social skills.  This group involves 1:1 therapeutic instruction and frequent field trips. Monday evenings from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
